Music Theory for songwriters Part 1. In this series we’ll use the piano keyboard in our DAW to explore music theory. So guitar players don’t fret (pardon the pun) it’s not about playing the piano or any specific instrument. We are using the piano as it provides the best visual to connect you to music theory. My goal for this series is to simplify music theory and present it in a unique fashion. Otherwise, it’s just another tutorial on music theory that is mostly convoluted in its presentation.
